If you’re looking for a holistic therapist in Plymouth but you’re not sure which treatment to book, let us introduce you to Rachel from Sentu Complementary Therapies.
Rachel works from Plymouth Wellbeing Centre in Estover. Rather than asking you to choose just one treatment, she tailors every session to you, with a bit of everything included.
Reiki, reflexology, massage and more in one treatment
Rachel trained in reiki 21 years ago and started her massage journey with Swedish massage around 16 years ago. Since then she has kept adding to her skills, and she now offers:
- Reiki
- Reflexology
- Swedish massage
- Aromatherapy
- Indian head massage
- Lymphatic drainage massage
- Pregnancy massage
She loves them all so much that she finds it hard to pick a favourite. So instead, she builds your treatment around what you need on the day.

Over 20 years supporting families
Before becoming a therapist, Rachel spent more than 20 years working with babies, children and families. That’s why helping mums-to-be with pregnancy massage brings her so much joy 🤰

A therapist who never stops learning
Rachel was already an experienced therapist when she joined Plymouth Holistic Training, the training school here at the centre. Since then she has added Indian head massage, lymphatic drainage massage and Level 3 aromatherapy to her skills.
She is now finishing her Level 4, which covers fertility, maternity and palliative care reflexology. As she puts it herself, she loves learning new things and doesn’t give up easily. Read Rachel’s training story.
“So, what do you do to relax?”
At your consultation, Rachel will ask what you do to relax. She loves hearing the answers, and some people realise they don’t really do anything at all.
If that’s you, she might just inspire you. This year Rachel passed her CBT and bought her first motorbike, something she says had never even crossed her mind. Riding takes so much focus that the busy thoughts finally go quiet, and she says it has helped her relax in a way she hasn’t for years 🏍️

Choosing a holistic therapist in Plymouth
Whoever you book with, it’s worth asking a few questions first. For example:
- What are they qualified in, and where did they train?
- Are they insured for the treatments they offer?
- Will they do a full consultation before your first treatment?
- If you’re pregnant, are they trained in pregnancy massage?
A good therapist will be happy to answer all of these, and Rachel is no exception.
